Which holidays are excluded?
The federal holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
What are observed dates?
When a federal holiday lands on a Saturday it is observed on the Friday before, and on a Sunday it is observed the Monday after.
Are both dates counted?
Yes, the start and end dates are both included if they are business days.
